Daniel Paton has been Director of Golf at Monash Country Club since 2016.

Born on the Gold Coast, he joined Southport Golf Club as a junior and was playing there as a member until 2010. He then represented Australian Universities in 2010 in the World University Games in Malaga Spain, during which time he was studying his Sports and Golf Management degree with Griffith University and the PGA IGI.

Before joining Monash Country Club, Daniel Paton’s previous professional experiences included:

• – joining the team at RACV Royal Pines Resort in 2011 and completing his traineeship there in 2013;
• – working as Assistant Professional at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland in 2014.

He grew a huge passion for teaching golfers of all abilities when he was working at Royal Portrush Golf Club. He enjoys helping golfers improve the skills and achieve their goals, from which he gains great satisfaction.
